How it plays
- 1A case opens with a single clue. That is all you get for free.
- 2Commit an answer now for the full value — or ask for the next clue.
- 3Every clue you take makes the answer clearer and the points smaller.
- 4Wait for the last clue and it is nearly obvious, and nearly worthless.
Why it works: training normally rewards being right. Real work rewards being right soon enough — the right answer after the moment to use it has passed is not a win. This puts a price on hesitation and makes the trade-off something the room can actually argue about.
